The writer must be open minded to work with the director, flexible with travelling and adaptable to any environment for method writing. Also, you should have willingness to accept criticism and rejection of your work. You should be adept at writing an engaging plot, crafting dialogues and creating characters which are unique and be capable of bringing them to life through rigorous research, and all other modes possible. You should also be able to string your thought process with that of the director’s, so as to work in tandem in realizing his ideas and formulate a movie. You should be committed enough to accept working at ungodly hours, long schedules, be ready to travel along with the film crew, or for the plot research. You should also be a method writer who puts in all kinds of effort to bring a story alive, this includes rigorous research, frequent travels to area in question, studying characters, and living one of them.

 

Job Summary

Primary Responsibilities

You will be responsible for brainstorming, conceptualize, ideates and writes creative content and ideas working closely with the director to interpret his visionary character in to screenplay. Keep yourself up-to-date with best practices in writing for the movies, obsessively track social media trends, writing unique and creative content with strong writing skills especially on Romance, Thriller, Suspense, Drama, Humor, Stories, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Fashion, News, Sports, Etc.You must also have complete understanding of film production. 

MANDATORY REQUISITES: 

  • Exp: 1-3 years; Excellent English verbal and written skill required.
  • Understand the different needs of Target audiences.
  • Assisting in writing Screenplays for films/web series.
  • Good understanding of English.
  • Must be proficient in word processing tools like Microsoft Word
  • Must be familiar with current formats for presenting screenplays.
  • Must have similar experience of Movies/ Videos/ Ad films/Module Scripts Writing.
  • Should be dedicated and well organized.
  • Enthusiasm to work as part of a team .
  • Capable to work for strict deadlines.
  • Must be ambitious and realistic.
