Moris Media is currently hiring for a Celebrity Manager. This job may require you to manage various aspects of a celebrity's professional and public life. As a Celebrity Manager, you will be the key point person for your clients, guiding their career trajectory, managing their public image, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the celebrity's daily schedule, coordinating with their team, and managing their media presence. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on career decisions, brand partnerships, and public appearances. Working closely with the celebrity, you will understand their goals and aspirations and develop strategies to achieve those goals.

This role demands a high degree of professionalism, organization, and discretion. You will need to handle confidential information, manage sensitive situations, and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure. This job requires traveling approximately 30% of the time for client meetings, both domestically and internationally. You will have the freedom to work from home or anywhere during productive hours, but there will be occasions when you will need to travel on behalf of the company for client meetings. The company will provide reimbursement for travel expenses. Please keep in mind that this position requires a certain level of flexibility due to the nature of working with celebrities. It is essential to be available for travel when necessary to effectively serve our clients' needs.

  • Brand Partnerships: Identify and secure lucrative brand partnerships and endorsement deals that align with the celebrity's image and values.
  • Schedule Coordination: Manage and optimize the celebrity's schedule, ensuring a balance between professional commitments and personal time.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with financial advisors to make sound financial decisions on behalf of the celebrity.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with assigned celebrities, acting as their confidante and advocate.
  • Communication Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between Moris Media and the celebrity, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Brand Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to enhance the celebrity's image and market value.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with PR, digital marketing, and legal teams to execute integrated campaigns and initiatives.
  • Crisis Management: Effectively handle any public relations crises that may arise, protecting the celebrity's reputation and minimizing negative impact.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts for endorsements, appearances, and other professional engagements, ensuring favorable terms for the celebrity.
  • Event Planning: Plan and coordinate public appearances, red-carpet events, interviews, and promotional activities for the celebrity.
  • Digital Presence: Oversee the celebrity's online presence, including social media accounts, website content, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Reputation Protection: Continuously monitor and safeguard the celebrity's reputation, addressing any potential threats or negative publicity proactively.

Qualifications:

Technical Requirements:

While technical skills are important for general communication and organization, the core of this role relies heavily on interpersonal skills and industry knowledge. However, to support your work, the following are necessary:

  • Laptop/Desktop with Upgraded Configurations: Essential for communication, scheduling, and research.
  • High-Speed Internet Connection: Crucial for real-time communication, research, and staying connected on the go.

Additional Requirements:

  • Open to Travel: A high degree of flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally is a must (approximately 30% of the time).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong telephonic etiquette, and a valid passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
