They specialize in various legal aspects that affect celebrities and their careers. The role involves handling a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, intellectual property rights, endorsements, negotiations, and dispute resolution.

Job Summary

Primary Responsibilities

  • Advising celebrities on legal matters related to their careers, including contracts, copyrights, trademarks, and licensing agreements.
  • Negotiating and drafting contracts for various purposes, such as film and television deals, endorsement deals, and concert performances.
  • Protecting celebrities’ intellectual property rights and handling issues related to copyright infringement or unauthorized use of their likeness.
  • Assisting with legal issues arising from media appearances, interviews, and public statements.
  • Providing guidance on privacy and defamation issues to protect the celebrities’ reputations.
  • Representing celebrities in legal disputes, including contract disputes, defamation cases, and breach of privacy claims.
  • Collaborating with other professionals in the entertainment industry, such as agents, managers, and publicists, to ensure legal compliance and protect the celebrities’ interests.

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.); LL.M. is preferred.
  • Active and in-good-standing membership in the relevant bar association.
  • Proven track record of drafting effective legal notices, agreements, and MOUs.
  • Strong understanding of media law, intellectual property rights, and contract law.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Legal Advisor, preferably within the media or related industry.
  • Exceptional research skills to analyze complex legal issues.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work alongside in-house legal teams.
  • An adaptable and proactive approach to legal problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with remote work tools and technology.
